Vintage 18K Yellow Gold 'Three Graces' Pearl Ring

The three pearls represent the significance of number three. Throughout the history, number three is considered as the perfect number. Three symbolizes unity (of body, mind and soul), Trinity in religious context (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit), and also appear in Greek mythology "The Three Graces" (the daughters of Zeus). The Three Graces represent radiance, joy and bloom.

This antique ring design takes on this symbolism and what makes it unique is the pearls, instead of gemstones. They sit on scalloped columns supported by double, thick shank.
