Antique 14K Yellow Gold Enamel Pansy Flower Engine-Turned Locket

A mesmerising antique 14K Yellow Gold memorial locket with a decorative design in black enamel and hand-etched floral designs bordering the black enamel with a purple pansy flower against a pastel blue background also in enamel. The locket opens up with two compartments for your keepsakes.

The back of the locket has beautiful engine-turned details with an oval blank center that you can have initials or a date engraved.

The word “pansy” originates from the French word “pensée”, meaning “to think” or “ponder”. When pansies were gifted to someone, it symbolised "Remembrance" and "Think of me".
