Victorian 18K Yellow Gold Enamel Three-Stone Pearl and Diamond Ring
Victorian 18K Yellow Gold Enamel Three-Stone Pearl and Diamond Ring
I call this the Marie Antoinette Ring because it reminds me of a painting of her wearing a pale blue dress with a strand of pearls around her neck and plumes of white soft feathers in her hair.
A circa early Victorian era ring crafted out of 18K Yellow Gold featuring central half pearl, flanked by two old mine cut diamonds that sparkle tirelessly. The diamonds are spectacular examples, and have an estimated colour G-H and Clarity VVS1-2.
The shoulders are decorated with pastel blue enamel that run down the shoulders in a scale like design and the pearl is nested in a closed backing that the jewellery community affectionately call the "ring butt". A truly remarkable piece to add to your collection.
