Vintage Brushed 18K Yellow Gold with Ruby Eyes Mouse Brooch by Merrin

A vintage brushed 18K Yellow Gold Mouse brooch by Merrin with two round ruby eyes. The mouse is beautifully detailed with brushed gold to depict the naturalistic appearance of fur and a long textured tail that swoops to its side and with big ears and the cutest whiskers.

The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 24mm x 18mm x 15mm(body) and including its tail it measures about 37mm in length with a gross weight of 7.2 grams. The brooch is signed and hallmarked in the belly of the mouse with MERRIN, ITALY and 18K.
